Blue Candy Holder

(click on picture to see the picture larger)
Here is a close up of the butterfly. I cut Digital Gloss using a die for the Big Shot. I stamped using Love bugs. I won this set. Thanks Julie! I rubbed Faded Blue Jean Distress Ink on the butterfly then stamped with Vintage Photo. I added Crystal Effects to the wings to give them more shimmer. The oval is Grunge board covered with Faded Blue Jean Distress paint. I put Skittles upside down on either side of the saying which is from Jumping for Joy from Gina K.
Project Tuesday this week was to create a treat holder for a water bottle. The directions for it are here. I used Basis Blue for the base. Then layered Blue Crepe. The side border is 1" and 1/2" circles stamped with Faded Blue Jean Distress Ink. I fight 6 small kit kats in this treat box.
Pez A Doodle has grunge board, Distress Inks and Distress Paint for fantastic prices. If you haven't tried them, you should. I have found that Distress Inks are my favorites to use on all projects. Now go to my other DT sisters and see there beautiful projects. The links are on my left side bar.

Recipe-
Vintage Photo & Faded Blue Jean Distress Ink, Skitles, Grunge Board and Distress Faded Blue Jean Paint are all from Pez A Doodle.
Digital Gloss, Blue Crepe, Silver Lustre (1/2" circles on border), Basis Blue from Paper Temptress
