Sending my love

I found this wonderful image already colored while cleaning my desk. It is Trena with Heart by Hambo Stamps. This is for the Hambo Hoedown challenge to use wood. I did a wood stamp on the base and the blue was embossed and sanded with a wood grain embossing folder.

Bearing with me

Hi All
Welcome to Inspired Stamps DT Thursday. This week we were asked to make a Thanks or Thankful card. I choose to use one of my favorite sets.  It is called  Bears All Things . The words are Thanks for Bearing with me. I added glossy accents to the words. The base is grey. I kept the bear simple by just added viva decor to the red.

Inspired Stamps

This week the Inspired Stamps DT was to use a character. There are so many cute characters at Inspired Stamps. I choose my favorite one, HLO girl studying. This one reminds me of my daughter. I choose to do something different for me which was not to color her. I paired it with John 1:1. I am sharing both cards. The first card is the one that I like most. The second one I liked the layout but it was hard to read the saying and image. Just goes to show you that not always my first try works. The first card uses black and a darker green ink to show case the image and saying.

Gremlin

I have been having fun playing with the Distress Markers that I just got. I used SU kraft resit paper and colored it. The ribbon was done with markers. I love the effect. The ribbon was ivory to start with. This image is from Phindy's Place for this weeks button challenge.
