I am trying to use up some retired Stampin Up DP. I used Daffodil Delight for the base. Melon Mambo for buttons and ribbon. This is for Crazy for Coco challenge of Celebration.

These cards are for the countdown technique videos on Stamp TV. The top one use Cuttlebug wax paper technique. It didn't exactly work out like it should but it I still like the effect it had. I hope to try it again. The second card uses the cracked glass technique. I used Early Espresso ink to high light the cracks. The background paper was embossed with a brick folder which reminded me of an old coffee shop. I have been having a blast with Mugs & Kisses by Melanie. I will try and use a different set soon.
This was created using Stamp TV newspaper background technique. I used an old book. Distress Inks in different shades of blue were used. The mat behind the mug is Cranberry brown bag. I love this paper because after you emboss you can sand the paper to show the brown side. The ribbon is Stampin Up. I added distress paint to the edges of the card than added ink.
I have been trying to participate in Stamp TV's Top 10 video challenge. This is for the split window technique. It is much brighter and sparkly in person. I used distress inks for the background and then sprayed Perfect Pearls Mist. The tree is embossed so has great texture. I am trying something new with doing more CAS cards and am liking it. It is for There She Goes Challenge to use buttons.
Phindy's challenge this week is all creatures great and small. I just love this image. I used Sparkle Abysee and Sparkle Vermilion from Paper Temptress.
There She Goes challenge this week is to use your stash. I pulled out an eyelet to hold the top notes together. I have seen this ornament idea a few places. Below you can see it open so I can put a gift card inside. I used a couple stamp sets that I hadn't used in a while. I can't remember there names but they are both from There She Goes Stamps. I will be busy with family over the next few days so I won't be posting for awhile. I hope your weekend is great.
It is time for a another Delightful Challenge. The challenge is New Year. I used this super image from Digital Delights by Louby Loo called Little Dumpling New Year Girl. The flowers from Fred She Said. Sparkle Negro with Bubblegum Pop Tones from Paper Temptress are perfect colors together.
This weeks challege at There She Goes is Bling. You can't see but I sprayed the whole card with Perfect Pearls Mist that adds a great shimmer. The bird is a die cut. I got the inspiration from Tim Holtz's tag 1. The stamp set is Birdie Wishes. The snow is paint. It is also for Ranger's Yahoo group to use ink and paint.
I had fun creating this card. I just love this image. I created it for a few challenges. I used Paper Temptress papers. Oh, use the code aa15 for a discount at Paper Temptress.

This week we challenge you at Delightful Challenges to emboss either dry or wet. I used a snowflake embossing folder on the base of Bashful Blue. The Fairy is on Night of Navy snowflake. I am already starting to think of Christmas thank yous not that I have finished Christmas cards. I just needed a change.
This card was created for a couple challenges. The new Crazy for Cocoa Challenge this week is make something for a loved one. I made this as part of a card set that I am making for my mom for Christmas. The layout is from Sweet Stop.
This week's challenge on There She Goes is to make a card for a kid. I used one of my favorite sets called Puppy Love. The DP was cut using Tasteful Trim die from Stampin Up. I am trying something new and going with more simpler cards.

Today is my dad's birthday. This is his card. No, it hasn't gotten mailed yet. It will be late as usual. I seem to get cards made just not mailed out in time. This image is from Phindy's Place and reminds me of my dad. He loves to create things with wood. Each year he is part of a group that makes wooden cars to give to kids at Christmas. This fits Phindy's challenge to use metal. I found the perfect brads for this card.

Happy Thanksgiving! This weeks challenge is to use flowers on your project. I use Lili the Skunk and Skunk Sentiments. The base is made by punching a bunch of flowers gluing them down than I rubbed ink over it all. I am not sure of the ink since this base was found on the bottom of my desk when I cleaned it recently.
I used Tuesday Mornings Sketch for the layout of this page of my son's cruise this past summer. He spent 2 months going to many places learning all about the ship's engines. It is part of his college program. Skinny Column Indigo Blue was sprayed with blue pearl mist. Spring Green Skinny green added a pop of color.
This card uses Paper Temptress Corrugated paper. I love the texture. I was going for a more male feel and think I pulled it off. What do you think?
Welcome to another Delightful Challenge. This weeks is a theme challenge of winter. I used Tango the Skating Bird. The trees are part of Christmas Accessories Set. The saying is part of Christmas Sentiments. The pond is part of stamp set from There She Goes and has distressed glossy accents. The snow is Liquid Enamel from Ranger. The ribbon and paper are from Stampin Up.
I used Flower soft for the snow and hat. Chocolate Truffle Linen is the base. I just love that name. Emerald Linen was embossed with snowflake folder. The saying is from Stampin Up. The ribbon is on sale at Paper Temptress. I did this for Phindy's Christmas challenge.
This card was made for Michelle Perket's Digi day yesterday. She released some super cut Christmas Doggie images. I figure this card isn't too bad since I made it in about 1/2 hour which is quick for me. The wreath has distress stickles and liquid pearls on it.
