Easter Treat

This cute treat was taught to me a stamp class. It uses the Stampin Up Framelits. I used Paper Temptress Crafty Brown Treasures, Light Blue & Dark Blue Crepe paper. The image is on Sweet Tooth 110. It is colored with prismas. The ribbons are 3/8" light blue/white grossgrain and Curly Light Blue from Ribbon Carousel. It is for Phindy's challenge to use an animal.

For my card, I choose to use this scripture stamp from Inspired Stamps. The background for the saying is alcohol inks. The pink mettallic paper was stamped with small flower using paint then rubbed with Distress Inks. I used Purple Jute/Twine and 5/8" Two Tone Grossgrain ribbon.

Inspired Stamps

Welcome to this weeks Inspired Stamps showcase. We are showcasing some of the $3.99 Scripture verses. I choose Proverbs 3:5. I am going through some diffucult health issues right now. It is nothing major just trying to get medications straightened out. I am leaning on this verse to get me through this trial. My first card is one the I created the background with alcohol inks. I first stamped flourishes from Fruitful Flourishes with Versamark ink than clear embossed them.

This second card, I used the stamp to create the background. I stamped the saying then sprayed with mists to add color.

My last one is done with mists than the saying was stamped and embossed. It is hard to read and think I would redo with black ink.

I used Paper Temptress Cotton Candy Pop tones for the base. The heart is Basis Grey and Rose Quartz Metallic. The DP is out of my scrap bin. The ribbon is from Ribbon Carousel.

My first project is a Holiday project. This was a gift for a friends sons. I used Cafe' Ian for the front. I used a tutorial from Splitcoaststampers for the paper behind the image. I used white felt to mount the image. A Stampin Up button frames the sentiment. Walnut Brown & Sulphur Blue Vintage Seam Binding.

This is the inside of the hot coco holder. The cute seal is Robbie Hot Chocolate digi. Pearls were used for the snow.

My second project is an every day card. I choose the color scheme based on 5/8" Orange/Black Solid Dot ribbon. The DSP is Glowing from Authentique that was colored with Distress Ink. The charms were created using Tim Holtz's Tag Day 10. It fits Simon Says Stamp challenge to use techniques learned from Tim's 12 days of tags.

I created this card based on one I made at a Stamp class. I used Pool Treasure embossed with snowflake folder. The snowman is embossed with turqoise embossing powder and than colored with smooch paint. I used Bittersweet Jute/Twine & 5/8" Light Blue Sheer Ruffled Edge from Ribbon Carousel.

This was created for Greeting Farm Movie night challenge on SCS. My movie is the Santa Clause series because Santa is always drinking hot coco. This is a hot coco folder. The template is from cutting cafe. The papers are from Paper Temptress. The green paper was embossed with snowflake than heat embossed with white embossing powder. This technique is from Holiday Boot Camp Day 2.

This cute image is one of the new digital stamps from Sweet n Sassy stamps called Cupid Rhubard. I paper pieced the heart, wings, and arrow case with red vellum. He was colored with Prisma pencils. All papers and ribbon are Paper Temptress.

This card was created for VSN Get out the Salt challenge. The base is Pool Treasures, Silver Metallic was used for the technique. I used Distress Reinkers and Stampin Up Reinkers. The star is from Holiday Boot Camp class that I am taking.

VSN All Bundled Up

Winter Wonderland VSN on SCS starts now! There will be a few challenges and maybe a suprise at 11 ;). I will have a few posts up to go with the challenges. I used a cute Gilli image (can't remember name) for the Gilli monochromatic challenge. The felt is from Felt on the Fly. This stuff is amazing. The base is Basis Brown with Basis Orange embossed. The glitter blue paper is DCVW. I use one of Sweet n Sassy's new lace dies. I threaded twine which is now available at Ribbon Carousel. The window part was sprayed with Log Cabin Smooch which photographed funny. It is dark too early to get a decent picture.

I created this card using Black Seam Binding and White Swiss Dot Ribbon from Ribbon Carousel. Sparkle Blanc is the base. Onyz Metallic was embossed with Snow Flowers. The image is from Phindy's Place and fits Phindy's Place challenge to use a Phindy image. The pearls are Pizzazz Aplenty.
