Flower Buds was used to create the flower. I stamped and colored 3 times then cut and layered them. Proverbs 31:30 is one of my favorite verses it is part of Proverbs 31 Women set.

Inspired Stamps

Welcome to Inspired Stamps Release week. I am sharing this fun Art Journal set. It has a face that you can make lots of different expressions. My first project is part of my scripture journal. I used words from the new set to frame around the edges of the page. The scripture is Philip 4:13. I used Viva Decor silver pen for the scribble lines. The flower is from Flower Buds that was stamped on watercolor paper that had been painted and spritzed first.

Here is a card using the new set. I love how the words are individual so you can make lots of different sayings. Sorry for the words being off but I have been sick.

Inspired Stamps

This week for Inspired Stamps we were asked to create something with a character as the focal point. I choose HLO Boy Praying. He was stamped and embossed on water color paper than colored with Prisma pencils. The scripture verse is from the set Strength. There are actual rocks on this. The ribbon is from my stash. Peace

This is part of the Scripture journal that I am working on. It has been fun playing with inks and paints. This page has watermelon paint on the base. I then used a stencil with white paint on top and added Glimmer mist on top. The flower is part of 2 1/2" Sheer Flower ribbon from Ribbon Carousel. I sprayed it with Pink mist. It was hard to get a good photo with all the sparkle.

Inspired Stamps

Welcome to another week of my venture in Scripture mixed media journaling. This week I took a blank book that I covered with white paint than added different sprays. All stamp sets are from Inspired Stamps.Here is a close up of the scallop square. I rubbed water color paper with distress inks than stamped the different sayings around the title. I used Label Maker Alphabet for the title. The words are from Fruitful Flourishes. The flower is from Flower Bud set. The flower was stamped with Magenta Color box ink 3 times on scrap of DSP. I then cut them out differently and layered them. Viva Decor pearls is used on the scallops.

Scripture Journal

I am venturing on a new journey for me. I am trying my hand at Scripture Journaling. I am joining Antoinette on God Bless Your Art. This is where you take different mediums and create a journal around a scripture verse. For me I found this book and will do a different scripture on each page. Or at least that is the plan, we will see where God leads me. I am not one to journal even though I do read scripture daily. I figure this is a good time to start because there is some family drama and I have my own personal health issues. The stamp sets I used are all from Inspired Stamps. Fruitful Flourishes, Flower Buds, Blessed Little Christmas (cross by Scripture), IS favorite collection #2, Scrapbooking, & Journal Shapes. I took different inks and distress the background. The square was colored with ink than sprayed with Smooch Spritz. The journal boxes were sprayed with Smooch Spritz. Liquid Pearls was used as an accent.

This week we were to create a shape card using Journal Shapes, Fruitful Flourishes or Scenic View. I choose Scenic View. I used Stampin Up inks to water color the image on water color paper. Inspired Stamps

Welcome to this weeks Inspired Stamps showcase. We are showcasing some of the $3.99 Scripture verses. I choose Proverbs 3:5. I am going through some diffucult health issues right now. It is nothing major just trying to get medications straightened out. I am leaning on this verse to get me through this trial. My first card is one the I created the background with alcohol inks. I first stamped flourishes from Fruitful Flourishes with Versamark ink than clear embossed them.

This second card, I used the stamp to create the background. I stamped the saying then sprayed with mists to add color.

My last one is done with mists than the saying was stamped and embossed. It is hard to read and think I would redo with black ink.

At Inspired Stamps, we were asked to create being inspired by nature. I used Scenic View. The images were stamped with Distress Inks. I water colored the mountains and sky. The saying is from IS Favorite Collection #2. Its says Whend in doubt.. Look Up.

Yeah! I finally get to tell you that I made the Inspired Stamps design team. This week the DT are featuring Characters. I choose His Little Ones- a girl studying. She is one of my favorite images because she reminds me of my daughter. She is colored with Prismas and paper pieced with Echo Park DSP. The saying is from the set Strength. The flowers are from 1 inch flowers.

Inspired By #6

I used the inspiration photo from Inspired By for this card. I used the same set as yesterdays card except the image is colored with prisma pencils. The saying is using the set Label Alphabet. The curly ribbon is from Ribbon Carousel.

Christmas Box

This is an explosion box. I got the tutorial here. The image is Winter Ruth from Inspired by Stamps. Here she is already for Christmas. I will show her ready for a birthday in a couple days. I love the versatility of this set.

It is open. I tried to get the gift card to stand but wasn't working. I hope to figure it out for the next box I need to make.

Ribbon Carousel Challenge & Tim Holtz day 9

This tag was inspired by day 9 for Tim Holtz's tags. I used Trees & Leaves from Inspired by Stamps. The base is Tim Holtz DSP. The ribbon is from Ribbon Carousel. The Ribbon Carousel challenge is on hold for the holidays to give the team a break. We will be back in January. The saying is from my stash. Red liquid pearl was put on the tree. With the holidays, life has been crazy. I have been crafting just not having time to post. I hope to have more to share soon. It is for Simon says stamp challenge.

VSN O'Christmas Tree

This is for VSN mini challenge DEC11VSNMINI13 to create a card using a favorite christmas song. I had a hard time choosing but went with O'Christmas tree because of this set. The image is from Inspired Stamps called Blessed Little Christmas. The punch is Ek Sucess. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable ribbon. I was lucky enough to win this ribbon. The pearls are from Pizzazz Aplenty. The papers are Red Treasures & Emerald Green Linen from Paper Temptress. It fits Inspired Stamps Christmas card challenge.
