There She Goes Sketch

I used this weeks There She Goes Sketch for this LO. It is another calander page that is 8 3/4 x 8 3/4. The papers are unkown. This photo was taken during a summer training my daughter was at. I found a new way to crop pictures. I printed it and then free hand cut out the photo. The flower accents are Polka Dot Blooms from There She Goes. They are stamped with DI spiced Marmalade and DI Shabby Shutters.

Beach Page

Teal Grandee is the base. I just love the texture of this paper. The flowers were stamped with Versamark ink and then embossed. I used Frost White Shimmer Paint to color the flowers. I mixed the paint with a little bit of water to give it more a watercolor effect. The mat behind the pictures and flowers under the title are creamy iridescent paper that I can not remember the name of. The ribon is SU. The last touch was to add Pez A Blings to the photo.
This page was created for Stamp TV's last weeks scrapbook challenge.

Pink Thank You

This cute image is from Digital Delights. The Stamp TV color challenge is Monochromatic. I choose pink because I want to do something other than Christmas. I used the sketch from Delightful Sketches. The base and mats are Pulsar Pink. The strip behind the image box is Rose Quartz Metallic and embossed with SU Petals a Plenty. I added Silver Stickles to the keyboard for some extra bling. The last touches were SU ribbon and Pez A Blings.
Ok, this is one of the hardest cards emotionally to make. Today is my Sister in Laws birthday and as some of you know the Lord called her home in June. The set I used is called Not Forgotten from Gina K. Gina created this set after her father passing away. I wanted my brother to let him know that I am praying for him. The sketch is from Stamp TV. The buttons have Silver Cord from SU. The papers are from my scrap bin. I used Pez A Blings from Pez A Doodle.

Gotta keep this short, I am almost done my Thanksgiving cards.

Sweet Pea Challenge #1

I usually avoid color challenges because I seem to have a hard time finding paper to match the colors chosen. It is not like I don't have enough paper to choose from but it seems that I can't find the right colors in time. I used this new stamp from Sweet Pea Stamps called
Ching-Chou Kuik's Dark Royalty. I just love this image and the saying is part of the stamp. I distressed the edges with Brilliance Coffee Bean. I used Pez A Blings in the corners. The papers are from my scrap bin. You still have time to participate in the challenge. The details are here.

With using this paper, it makes for a quick scrapbook page. The lighthouse is from Guiding Light from Gina K. Designs. I used Distress Stickles Corduroy for the "sand".
