Compare 2 different Velums & Blog candy

This a vellum I got in a pack from Target. Sorry not sure of brand. You can see that this vellum is more see through than the Paper Temptress digital vellum below.

Below you can see the two images once I colored them with Twinkling H2O's. I found the Paper Temptress was much eaiser to work with. The colors came out much brighter on the PT digital vellum. The generic vellum curled after I colored the images and the PT digital vellum curled very little.

Below are the two cards I made with the images. The card on the left is the generic vellum.
The one on the right is PT digital vellum. You can see the papers on the generica vellum and the PT digital vellum is not as see through. This cute image is from Squigglefly.

Details- Keep your neck covered from Squigglefly
Paper- Striped paper on the left side of the card is K& company
The stripe on the right side of the card is Stripped Vellum from Paper Temptress
Base is Basis Brown & tan was used on the inside of the cards both are from Paper Temptres

Now that you have made it this far. Leave a comment on this post by Tuesday by 1pm (pacific time) and I will draw two names to send you a sheet of digital vellum and a sheet of generic vellum so you can try the vellum out for your self.

  8. I think your cards are really nice, but I really prefer vellum that is more translucent because to me that's the point of using it. The twinkling in your coloring is just gorgeous. You did a great job photographing it.
