Purple Set
I got a chance to take an online class with Erika Martin. If you ever have the chane, to take one of her classes. Do it. This purse was one of the projects. It was so easy to make following the directions. Erika has a picture for each step. She gives you all the directions in a pdf document so you can print the directions if you want.I just had to make a matching card to go with this cute purse. The puple swirl paper is digital paper that I printed on Sparkle Text to give the paper a beautiful shimmer.
This set also fufills Clear Dollar Stamps Weekend Color Challenge. This weekends challenge is to make a monochromatic card. This means to use 1 color. I choose purple because I have had this swirl paper printed for awhile waiting to be used.
Latisha has a wonderful video on Flourishes Blog showing how she ties her bows. Now I know how to make beautiful bows.

Cookie Cookbook
Carolina had asked for cookie recipies at Christmas time. She chose a few of her favorite recipies and offered to make a cookbook with the recipies. My chocolate chip cookie recipie was chosen. During Christmas time I change the recipe by using Andes thin mints in my recipe along with mint extract for something different. The recipe freezes well. I usually make cookie logs by place the dough on saran wrap and roll the dough up and freeze. When I need cookies, I just take the dough out and slice then bake. If you want my recipe go to this post.
Here you can see the front of the recipe book and the cute card she included.

Compare 2 different Velums & Blog candy
This a vellum I got in a pack from Target. Sorry not sure of brand. You can see that this vellum is more see through than the Paper Temptress digital vellum below.
Below you can see the two images once I colored them with Twinkling H2O's. I found the Paper Temptress was much eaiser to work with. The colors came out much brighter on the PT digital vellum. The generic vellum curled after I colored the images and the PT digital vellum curled very little.
Below are the two cards I made with the images. The card on the left is the generic vellum.
The one on the right is PT digital vellum. You can see the papers on the generica vellum and the PT digital vellum is not as see through. This cute image is from Squigglefly.
Details- Keep your neck covered from Squigglefly
Paper- Striped paper on the left side of the card is K& company
The stripe on the right side of the card is Stripped Vellum from Paper Temptress
Base is Basis Brown & tan was used on the inside of the cards both are from Paper Temptres
Now that you have made it this far. Leave a comment on this post by Tuesday by 1pm (pacific time) and I will draw two names to send you a sheet of digital vellum and a sheet of generic vellum so you can try the vellum out for your self.

Cupcake
This card I made for the Stamp Something Spring Time Something Challenge. I love this Candino Cardstock from PT because it works really good for making simple cards. I lightly embossed the green cupcake on vellum blush then mounted it doubled sided cardstock. I also used the vellum for the corners. I used the SU stamp set darling dots. This card is a simple 4 inch square.

Yellow Daffodils
This week the challenge on Flourishes Timeless Tuseday challenge was to use ribbon. I tend to want to keep my favorite ribbons and not use them. Go check out all the details. I used Spring for You stamp set. I just love daffodils. I tried a new coloring technique is to use watercoloring pencils. I have a long way to go but I think I did ok for the first time. I stamped the daffodils on water color paper then embossed them. The buttons were an after thought because I messed up the paper in the corner and I didn't want to start all over.
On another note, I want to encourage all out their to try for Design Team spots for different companies. I would never have dreamed that I would be good enough for being part of a Design Team a year ago but I decided why not try. Yes, I have been rejected and I was sad for a bit but I knew God had different plans. I tried again and Now I am DT for Squigglefly, Paper Temptress and Guest Designer for Pez a Doodle for June & July. I encourgae you to try. If you need help, let me know. I would be more than willing to help you out. Just email me at anitamocha@sbcglobal.net.

Is there such a thing as from Carter's closet? I decided to make a card i using the Whimsy Knight. I chalked up him a little bit.
This card I made for From Courtney's Closet, and this week she is wearing a princess gown. I used the Whimsy Coach, and PT kiwi, pink, and heavenly white paper. I also used some digi flowers and of course I had to use polka dots because they are Libby's fav.
Both cards have been made by Katie.

Purple frog & Blog Candy
This blog candy is now closed. Off to pick a winner
Editor's note- Read all the way to the bottom to see the blog candy. Sorry for the different size fonts but my blog is being stubborn and won't let me change it.
I had printed a bunch of digital images and started coloring them while watching TV. I just had to have a pink frog. This card fits the sketch challenge for Victoria Case PCP group.
I have started a new challenge on the Paper Temptress PCP group. The challenge is to make corners with your Paper Temptress paper. I cut 2 inch squares of Iridescents Morphing Mauve and then cut them diagonally. I then used my SU scalloped border punch to the long flat edge. I have seen this explained better elsewhere but lost where I saw it. The prize for winning this challenge is a pack of Iridescents paper pack.
Paper Temptress paper- Basis Pink, Iridescents Morphing Mauve, Vellum Violet, Vellum Bristol

What do you think?
Ok, I have been debating with my self about this card. Warning this card is in progress but I thought I would share before finished to see what you think and if I should finish this card. I was hoping to find an image of a little girl with a pen. If you look closely, grandpa has pink hair. Both images are new ones from Squigglefly. What do you think?

Timeless Tuesday- Green Daffodil
Ok, are you tired of seeing all my green creations? This card uses Signs of Spring from Flourishes. This week was a sketch challenge. You have until Monday night at 8 pm (est) to enter in Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge. I stamped the image once on the green cardstock with Color box green and again on water color paper with Versamark and embossed in black. I used water color pencils to color the flower. I like the effect of water colors.

Pink duck
This cute duck is one of the new images from Squiglefly called Rainy Day Ducking- Charlie. I colored with Twinkling H2O's. The "waves" are the part that you usually throw away when using a scallop border punch. The saying was printed from a font that I bought from Lettering Delights.

Green Whimsical cow
This cute whimsical cow is from Squigglefly. Here is another fun St. Patrick's Day. I have cleaned up my scrap room recently. I sort my scraps by color and put them in their own box. This makes it easy to make quick cards with scraps.
Green Porcupine
I am glad to know that I am alone in my love for things colored differently. Now, some may think I have gone over board but I need a few St. Patrick day cards but don't have any stamps that fit so I found this wonderful ribbon at Walmart that fit the bill. I will share the few different St. Patty day cards that I have made with different stamps and digital images. All papers are out of my scrap bin. I used this Porcupine stamp from Hambo Stamps. The stripe paper is SU.

Pez a Doodle Set
This set was put together for a try at a 2 month DT spot for Pez a Doodle Stamps. I just love this little girl on the hearts. I stamped the image on Shrinky Dink sheet with Stazon ink and colored with Sharpies. I then baked the image. I used the image as a charm on this box that holds my Pez a Doodle Stamps. I made the box from a Timeless Template from Paper Trey Inc. I just love how many different ways you can use these templates. The card was made with scraps. I useds Iridescents Cryogen White on the embossed side. I love how well Paper Temptress paper embosses. The flowers are digital downloads from Fred, She said.
