Inspired Stamps

Welcome to another week of my venture in Scripture mixed media journaling. This week I took a blank book that I covered with white paint than added different sprays. All stamp sets are from Inspired Stamps. Here is a close up of the scallop square. I rubbed water color paper with distress inks than stamped the different sayings around the title. I used Label Maker Alphabet for the title. The words are from Fruitful Flourishes. The flower is from Flower Bud set. The flower was stamped with Magenta Color box ink 3 times on scrap of DSP. I then cut them out differently and layered them. Viva Decor pearls is used on the scallops.

Here is a close up of the scripture.

MIA

Hi,
I am crafting but what I am making is for DT projects. I am trying my hand at video tutorials, too. I am finding this is time comsuming than I thought. Also, I have had some personal issues to deal with that have left me not wanting to craft. The other thing I have been doing is rearranging my craft room and trying to purge out stuff I don't use. I hope you are all doing well. I will have a post Monday with Inspired Stamps.
God Bless,
Anita

Ribbon Carousel Challenge 43

Welcome to another fun challenge with Ribbon Carousel. Our wonderful sponsor is Whimsical Designs. The challenge is to use FELT.
My card uses the fun Purple Jute Twine. The flower is felt cut with Tim Holtz flower die. The donkey is from There She Goes. The wonderful accents are Sparklets which can be found here. My card was based on this fun DSP that I found at Hobby Lobby.

Scripture Journal

I am venturing on a new journey for me. I am trying my hand at Scripture Journaling. I am joining Antoinette on God Bless Your Art. This is where you take different mediums and create a journal around a scripture verse. For me I found this book and will do a different scripture on each page. Or at least that is the plan, we will see where God leads me. I am not one to journal even though I do read scripture daily. I figure this is a good time to start because there is some family drama and I have my own personal health issues. The stamp sets I used are all from Inspired Stamps. Fruitful Flourishes, Flower Buds, Blessed Little Christmas (cross by Scripture), IS favorite collection #2, Scrapbooking, & Journal Shapes. I took different inks and distress the background. The square was colored with ink than sprayed with Smooch Spritz. The journal boxes were sprayed with Smooch Spritz. Liquid Pearls was used as an accent.

Inspired Stamps

This week we were to create a shape card using Journal Shapes, Fruitful Flourishes or Scenic View. I choose Scenic View. I used Stampin Up inks to water color the image on water color paper. The flowers are from my stash. I love being in the mountains so this scene is special to me. Head over to Inspired Blog to see the other DT's amazing projects.
