Dream Team

My daughter took part in Relay for Life this year. Her team title was the Dream Team and they all designed their own super hero costumes. The sketch is from Nuts About Sketches. Scrap & Stamp's challenge is to use different fonts. The capitals are Curlie Gurlie and the numbers are Carnival by Tim Holtz. The other font I don't know the name. The ribbon stamp is from Stampin Up. The butterflies are from Butterfly Happiness by There She Goes Stamps. There She Goes challenge this week is to distress. I distressed all the edges and inked with Brilliance Pearlescent Purple. Basis Light Blue is paired with Grape Popsicle Glossy. Amythest Metallic is used for the titles, ribbons and matting the photos. The ribbons were cut out of the mats before gluing the photos done. This is a way to extend the paper. All papers are from Paper Temtress. Don't forget when you go shopping use the code aa15 to save and extra 15%.

God Bless,
Anita

Survial page

This page was created using sketch #77 from Nuts About Sketches. The base is Red Pepper Coloumn. I colored the rope with Perefect Pearls Red that was mixed with water. The title is mounted on Iridescent Cryogen White that has been painted with Perfect Pearls Red and water. The image is from Jessica Lynn Original. The buttons were cut using the big shot. The color was chosen for the Scrap & Stamp monochromatic color challenge.

More Calendar pages

This top page is 8 3/4 x 8 3/4. The base is White Leather. I Used Balabo Blue Felt Grandee to form borders. I stamped on the felt using a stamp from Circle Circus by SU. The title was created using a tutorial from Gingersnap Creations. The photos are framed with Plasma Blue Iridescent.

Here is a page that I used scraps to create. The wheel is part of Guiding Light from Gina K. This page uses Stamp TV's Scrapbook Challenge.

Both pages fit Scrap & Stamps challenge to create a Masculine Page.

Halloween page

Ok, I think this is a first for me. I got an event scrapbooked a week after the event. The challenge for this week for Scrap & Stamp was Halloween. The ghost journal box is a digi from Stamping Boutique. I added different stickles to color the ghost. The papers are unknown. I inked the edges of the photo blocks with Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink. I had planned to get this page done early in the week but I got started on Christmas projects and forgot about this challenge just this afternoon. The top notes were already cute from a different project where I used the frame. The ribbons are from Michaels.

Monterey

Scrap and Stamps challenge this week was open. Just stamp on your layout. I stamped the Basis Light Blue with shells from Sea side by Flourishes using Distress Ink Antique Linen. The title was created on the computer and printed on Kraft. I used a rope stamp from Guiding Light by Gina K. The images were stamped with Versamark and then clear embossed. I did the same with the shells which are on Columns Brown and Kraft. The open space is for writing.

Thanks Page

This is the first page that I have done that does not have pictures. I like how it turned out. The challenge for Scrap and Stamp Saturday's challenge was to do something using the theme What are you thankful for. I have to say that I find theme challenges harder at times than color or sketch challenges. I need the push to try something different and that is one of many reasons I love challenges. I made this page for me. I need to be reminded that I am blessed in many ways even through the roller coaster ride of life. The two journal boxes are part of the Pierced Tag set from Angels Landing. They are digis so I can make them any size. The brown flowers are from Fred She Said. I stamped the title on retired SU tags using Studio G purple ink. The ribbon is Mary Arts. I used Studio G flower stamps with Distressed Ink Old Paint. Paper Play Challenge was to use your favorite embellishment. I used Pez A Doodle Skittles in the center of the flowers.
