Chocolate

 

I am playing with the Stamp of the Month for Close to My Heart for August. It is all about chocolate. I created a quick card using the die cut card base and some hearts and banner that were cut using the Artise cartridge for Cricut. If interested, just hit shop button at side of my blog. Ok, I wanted to make a quick card since I haven't crafted in awhile. I used scraps to create this card This saying is part of a new set that is coming out in Sept from Close to My heart. The buttons are from CTMH too. If interested, in planning a online party or individual just let me know or use the shop button.

Back to School

Welcome to Melonheadz challenge this challenge is Back to School.  I choose to make a sign that I put magnets on back. The sign is something I picked up at Micheals than painted. My daughter's favorite color is blue so used some Viva decor blue paint. I love this Back to school bundle. I colored the books and sign with my markers. The little items around the sign are acorns from my yard. The numbers were cut with my Silhouette.

New Adventure

I am starting a new adventure. I am now an Independent Consultant for Close to my Heart.  I used CTMH ink Gypsy & Black on CAS card. The stamp set is Perfect Paisley Flair CTMH. Inspired Stamps

This week Inspired Stamps DT was to create a card featuring a Scripture verse. I choose James 1:7. I have lots to be thankful this month. I can see God's hand in it all.

Unity is having a FB challenge of using your Itty Bitty stamps. These two stamps were part of a grab bag that I got. I used some Washi tape to add just a touch of belittlement. I am not sure of this CAS but decided to go with it.

Ok, this card is kind of different for me. I tried to do more of a distressed feel. The blue one has paint than embossed than inked. The die cut was colored with Distress ink. My embellishments are buttons and Candi dots. The saying is from Unity. The colors were chosen to follow Unity's color challenge.

Inspired Stamps

This week we were asked to create a set of cards using one Scripture verse. I choose 1Thessolians 5:16-18. I used a simple color scheme and used different dies to change the look and different placement of the ribbon. The bottom card has washi tape.
