Love Birds

This is for Market Street challenge. Everything on this card is from the January kit. I noticed that the embossing didn't take in one corner but am going with it. I will try to do better next time. I am still sick with a bug so this was my first time to craft in a while. The layout is from CardPatterns.

Ribbon Carousel NEWS

Hey everyone! Today is a big day at RibbonCarousel.com. We are debuting the Brand New Ribbon Carousel© today and, of course, doing a giveaway on our Blog too! Here are the details:

The Ribbon Carousel© is made out of White Marine Board Plastic (High Density Polyethylene), giving it a textured top with smooth scrolled edges. Each Carousel comes with 8 Clear Acrylic rods allowing for many different configurations. You can use it as a 4, 5, 6 or 8 post Carousel, depending upon your individual needs.

The Ribbon Carousel© holds up to 60 rolls of 3/8" ribbon using 4 rods, 40 Wooden Spools or 16 spools of your favorite Baker's Twine using 8 rods. It SPINS around on a lazy susan, allowing you to access your ribbon and twine easily! This easy-to-use organizer is compact, with a footprint less than 7" square on your workspace. The Ribbon Carousel© holds ribbon spools of any size up to a 4" diameter. Minimal assembly required.

To use: Simply unscrew the knob on top of the Ribbon Carousel©. Remove the top and place your spools on the posts as desired. Replace the top by lining up the rods to the holes in the underside of the top. Replace the knob to secure the Ribbon Carousel.

Specifications: Each Ribbon Carousel is approximately 6.85" square and 13.5" tall. The manufacturing and assembly of each Ribbon Carousel© is in Washington State, USA.

Now head on over to the Ribbon Carousel Blog or FB page to be entered in our Giveaway!

Ribbon Carousel Challenge 37

Welcome to Non Traditional Colors challenge with Ribbon Carousel Challenge. This means if you make a Christmas card no greens or reds or a Valentines card no pinks or reds. Our wonderful sponsor is Paper and Such.

I created a Valentine card that has Kody Rocks from Some Odd Girl. I colored him with Prismas. Blue Ruche frames the image. The Mushroom brown Bag and Abysee Sparkle were embossed than sanded and inked. Sulphar Blue Seam Binding was added. I just love how easy the seam binding is to work with. I roughed up the edges of the ribbon a bit to go with the rocker image. The papers can be found at Paper Temptress.

The sketch is from Stamp School. I took a bit of liberty by changing shapes but basically the sketch is there. The image is from Greeting Farm called 50's sweethearts.

The stamp is from the Market Street Stamp January kit. I used Basic Grey Lemonade for the DSP. The flower is from MSS kit. The lace is from my stash that was sprayed with different Tattered Angel Sprays. I just love changing the look of lace that way.

Hula girl

This card is for Phindy's challenge. I used die cuts, embossing and buttons. I just think this little hula girl is so cute. I have been dealing with a cold that is being stubborn and what crafting I am doing is for DT work so can't show you yet. I hope you are all doing well.

Welcome to a wonderful Ribbon Carousel Challenge. This week we are to use Danielle's sketch. Our amazing sponsor is Some Odd Girl. She has both digital and clear stamps.

For my card I used Smell the flowers Tia. I thinks she is so adorable. The square behind her is wrapped with Maraschino Red Twinery. The papers are Authentique. I used 1" Pink/Light Pink reversible paired with 1/4" Fuschia satin ribbon.
