Purple Birthday

This was created for Stamping Boutique's challenge to create a birthday card. I used scrap papers and ribbon for the card. The image is from Stamping Boutique.

The DP is from Glitz. I normally wouldn't choose these papers but won them recently. I have decided to challenge myself to use what I have. The image is Cozy Gilli. Her face is colored just doesn't show in the picture. I am still learning how to color skin. I use pencils.

Autumn Wishes

This card was made from basically scraps. I am trying to use up stuff on my desk instead of just shoving it aside. All the images are from Digital Delights by Louby Loo. This fits Delightful Challenge to create a fall theme card. I am still waiting for fall. It has been unusually warm in my area.

Hambo Sub

I used Pig Sub from Hambo Stamps for this card. It has Viva Decor Silver around the edges. The ribbon is from my stash. It is for Hambo Hoedown's challenge to create a card for OWH.

Pink Birthday

This cute image is from Guylou's Inimitability. It is for Digital Tuedsay Challenge to have a person on the card. I kept it simple since I am battling a sinus headache. The balloons have glossy accents on them to make them shine.

The papers are scraps from my desk so not sure where they cam from. I have cream viva decor on the flowers. Pink Rhinestones accent the ribbon and flower.

Phindy Christmas cards

Both cards are for Phindy's Challenge to create Christmas cards. I decided to go with non traditional colors. It fits Stamp TV-s Friday challenge of a Christmas Card with non traditional colors. The snow man card is Bashful Blue & Chocolate Chip with retired dp.
This second one uses Eggplant Feltweave and Mauve iridescent. Purple rhinestones are from Pizzazz Aplenty.

Yum Coco

This super cute image called Rhubarb Cuppa Joe is from Sweet n Sassy Stamps. The image was colored with Prisma Pencils. The DSP is from Imaginisce.

Yummy Marshmallows

Here is a close up of the title.
Here is the edited page. Below you can see the original. The idea was given to me by my hubby. It fills in the blanks space.
This page shows my daughter enjoying roasting marshmallows during our summer vacation. I created the title in photo shop and then printed them out. I used a SU punch to cut them out. The little element at the bottom is supposed to be a fire. Not sure about it. It definitely looks better IRL. As I look at this page it needs something more will post it again when i add the fix.

Hambo Design Call

Here is a close up of Wee Henrieta Witch from Hambo Stamps. I colored with Prisma Pencils. I added Gunmetal Stickeles to her hat and dress. Silver Viva Decor pen was used around image and on hat band.
Here you can see the whole treat box. It is the skull treat box from Cutting cafe. I embossed with SU spider web folder. The ribbon is from my stash.

This card uses Banana Kid from Hambo Stamps. This fits this weeks Hambo Hoedown challenge to use something from the house. I choose to try an idea I saw on another blog. To glue a used dryer sheet to a piece of card stock than dry emboss it. I used a vertical strips folder from Stampin Up. I love the texture this gives. The papers are Sparkle Noir, Sparkle Mangue, & Sparkle Noir from Paper Temptress. The black seam binding is from Ribbon Carousel. The yellow ribbon is from my stash. The rhinestones and pearls are from Pizzaz Aplenty. Both projects were created for the Hambo Design Call. I encourage you all to try out. This card fits Ribbon Carousel Challenge to get Punny.

Paper Craft magazine Rejects

Both cards were for Paper Crafts Magazine last call. I followed sketch 1. I am trying my hand at CAS cards. I like them both. They both use Paper Temptress paper. I got myself over the hurdle of being afraid to enter. Now to try again. I did both at the last moment. I wish you could see them in IRL and the texture is just amazing but hard to photograph.

Through the Craft Room Door Challenge

Welcome to another fantastic Through the Craft Room Door Challenge. The challenge this week is to use the above photo for inspiration and to include the color green. Our sponsor is Paper Temptress.

My card uses Light Green Basis, Basis Gray, Rose Quartz Metallic, & Sparkle Blanc from Paper Temptress. I colored the image with prisma pencils. I added glossy accents to bubbles and liquid white enamel. I have to confess that the bath tub had to be paper pieced because there is a big ink stain. The flowers are covering another boo boo. So be creative to hid the mistakes is the lesson learned here. The seam binding is from Ribbon Carousel. The image is from There She Goes and is called Rejuvenate.

Girly Cards

This first card is for Ribbon Carousel challenge to make a fun card. It is for a friend who is having a tough time. I just love this image. I colored with Prisma pencils. I am slowly learning how to create different shadows. The papers are retired SU. I used Viva Decor brown around the image. The seam binding is from Ribbon Carousel. The top note was embossed after adding the flowers. It fits Do you Stack up Challenge to have texture.
This card is for Phindy's Place Challenge to use stripes. The dress was supposed to have stickles but accidentally grabbed the liquid pearls. I am not sure about it.

Sunset Ride

I have been battling allergies lately so not much crafting going. I did get a DT projects done so those will be coming up soon. I make scrapbook calendars for family for Christmas. This is one of the pages. It fits Drunken Stampers challenge to show us what you did this summer. My husband and daughter took a ride during our vacation to the Oregon Coast. I didn't go on the ride so no photos of me on a horse. I used Kraft 12x12 for the base and Chocolate chip to mat photos and journal box.

Ok, I am way behind in offering blog candy. I have been so blessed to win many stamping goodies and to be on some amazing design teams. It is also been 3 years since I started this blog. So I had hoped to have a picture but that just isn't happening. Life has been crazy. You are asking what is the candy well for USA friends, I have a big box of stamping goodies. I am cleaning my stamp room or at least attempting too. I have some stamp sets and lots of other goodies that need a good home.

I used Pretty in Pink and Basic Black with scrap of DSP. The ribbons are pink and black seam binding from Ribbon Carousel. The pink rhinestones are Pizzazz Aplenty.

TSG Doll & Outing

There She Goes is having a 3rd Birthday party celebration. The first challenge was to make a paper doll. I used this image from Freeze the Moment.

The second challenge was to take your paper doll out on the town. I forgot to cut around her before taking her out. She wanted to go to Michaels and see what was knew. She found this yummy paper. My hubby will be happy to know it didn't make it home. I did get a snowflake border punch.

Squirrel Birthday

Squirrel's Gift was colored with Prisma Pencils and blended with baby oil. The saying is from the set Curly Cute from Stampin Up. This is for Sweet n Sassy Digi Challenge to create a card white on white with a colored image. I like the effect but keep wanting to add color. This fits Birthday Sundaes challenge too.

Through the Craft Room Door Challenge

Welcome to another Through the Craft Room Door Challenge. The challenge is to use at least 2 textures. I used Sizzix Snowflake embossing folder on Aquamarine Metallic. The Sparkle Abysse is embossed with Sizzix Plaid embossing folder. The image was printed on Sno Cone Pop Tones and colored with Prisma Pencils. The twine and pearls are from Pizzzaz Aplenty. All papers are from Paper Temptress.
