Bee Cause

Happy Monday Challenge is a sketch this week. I "colored" the bee with black enamel and gold stickles. Basis Pink, Berrylicious Pop Tones, Basis Grey, White Gloss & Sparkle Mangue from Paper Temptress are all the papers. The flower was found on my desk.

Delightful Challenge

Today's challenge is all about scraps. I use some scraps and cut them with Tasteful Trim Die. I used Ticket Sentiments and Stars and Stripes Colored Lara. The ribbon is from my scrap bin.
Ok, I am sharing a couple more cards using Stars & Stripes Colored Lara and Scalloped Shapes Background Colored. The saying is from the set for Help for Katie. All the cards will be used as Hero cards for Operation Write Home.

Special Moments

There She Goes Challenge is to use a line art image and don't color it. It was so hard not to color the image but love how this turned out. I used Back in 10 from There She Goes Stamps. The layout is from Tuesday Morning. Papers are Stampin Up. The Twine is from The Twinery.

This is a card that didn't make it for publication. I just love this saying especially on my off days. The image and saying are from Digital Delights by Louby Loo. Bluestone Linen is the base and paired with Sparkle Mangue.

U Stamp Scavenger Hunt

I am so excited to share with you that as one of the Designers for UStamp with Dawn and Friends!! Oh My Word!! Edition 2011 I get to participate is a FUN Blog Scavenger Hunt. I have a "key word" that I will be posting today and the members need to find all the key words on the participating Designers blogs and than unscramble the sentence. I can't wait to see who will win the fabulous hand stamped prizes!!

I created a scallop envelope easel card. This is Bronwyn Eastley project of creating different types of easel cards. I changed colors and stamp sets. I used Bliss Stamp Set from SAB. The colors are Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla & Chocolate Chip. All is from Stampin Up which is my key word.

Special Moments

This weeks There She Goes challenge is Kraft, pink, & Ivory. The ribbon is ivory and the image is matted to ivory but it looks pink. Ok, don't look too close at the image. I tired my hand at watercoloring with ink refills. I have a ways to go but figure this didn't turn out too bad. The set is called Back in 10.

Delightful Challenge

This weeks Delightful Challenge is all about animals. I used Lenny the Lion and Great Day Sentiment. All the papers are Stampin Up. The sketch is an older one from Splitcoaststampers.

Tea and cakes

My sis and her hubby got some really bad news yesterday so I had to make a card for her. I used a Phindy image and saying from Create with TLC. The flowers are Viva clay painted with pearl paint. This is for Phindy's Place Challenge of Spring and Creative Card Crew challenge of Friendship.

This weeks challenge on Phindy's Place is Spring. I figure what better than a nice cold margarita. I am trying something new of doing more CAS cards and I like it. I got some wonderful news that a card will be published in SNR magazine on March 13. I want to encourage you all to try and would love to hear if you do. Just remember you are your worst critic because the card they choose I wasn't sure if I liked it or not but entered any way.

My card is for Hambo's Hoedown Challenge and Tuesday Morning Sktech. I figure this card would work for letting someone know you care. I used Crushed Curry, Dusty Durango, & Basic Black.
My daughter decided to create for the Hambo challenge too. She used some retired stamps.

First I want to share my daffodils that have started blooming. It has been wonderful weather here in central CA.

The image was colored with Twinkling H2O's. The papers are Daffodil Delight and Tempting Turquoise. I used Daffodil Pom Pom trim as an accent.
