Road Trip

This summer we got to take a day trip over to San Fransisco area. It was nice to get out of the heat. One funny thing that my family loves to laugh at is how easily I get cold. We stopped at the Marin headlands and it was freezing. My daughter thought it was warm and kept teasing me. We stopped at Marin Wildlife Rehab center. They had some steal seal lions which were great for a photo opportunity. The base is basis red and was stamped using a shell stamp set from Flourishes. The popped up shells were stamped on Khaki Ruche. The photos are framed with Blue Ruche. The texture on this paper is awesome.The ribbon is from Paper Temptress and is 40% off right now. The papers are from Paper Temptress also.

TSG ATC 2

This second ATC for There She Goes challenge uses Penguin Love stamp set. I just think the penguin is so cute as Santa. He has glitter on his beard. I kept it simple because I may just use this as a tag later on.

There She Goes challenge is to make an ATC. I had never tried one before. They are fun. I ended up making two. This one using sayings from Art in the Window and Butterfly from Butterfly Happiness. All paper are Stampin Up scraps

Welcome to another Delightful Challenge. This week is all about getting girly with pearls and lace. Fairy by Digital Delights by Louby Loo is printed on Crystal Metallic and colored with Twinkling H2O's. Happy Birthday sentiment is from Digital Delights. The lace is covering Amethyst Metallic. The image is framed with Sour Apple Pop Tones. All papers are from Paper Temptress.

Star

Unscripted Skechtes had an extra challenge to create something other than flowers for the flower spots. I went with stars to go with the cute image from Phindy's Place. It fits Phindy's Challenge. The papers and ribbon are Stampin Up.

Sprinkles

It is time for another Nuts About Sketches. It was so hot out that my daughter and her friends decided to cool down in the sprinklers. The title was created on my computer. The base is Metallic Aquamarine. I wish you could see the sparkle that this paper has. I used Sparkle Mangue, Basis Green, Tangy Orange, Basis Red for the mats. The blank spot is for the journaling.

Bookmark

There She Goes challenge this week is to make a bookmark. I used Puppy Love and scraps of papers.

Winter Wishes

Tuesday Morning's challenge is to create a Diagonal Pocket card. I used some SU DP that I have but not sure if I like. The paper looks good this way. I inked all edges with Brushed Sage Distress Inks. The images are from Penguin Love and Stick Together from There She Goes.

This is the back. I am not sure about the ribbon but I had to cover a boo boo.

Back to School with Primary Colors

Welcome to another Delightful Challenge. This week the challenge is Back to School with Primary colors.
I created this cute little crayon holder using this tutorial from Charlene. I used Augustus the Dragon and Back to School saying from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

I had an extra dragon so he got put on a notebook to go with his Friend. There is glitter on top and bottom of the front.

Phindy's Challenge is using pink this week. I just love the color combination of brown and pink. I am addicted to Pearls. I couldn't stop using them. The fairy was printed on Crystal Metallic. I used Mushroom brown Bag and embossed it than sanded the paper to give it an aged look. Earthstone Neenah frames the image. The ribbon is from Paper Temptress. The saying is SU.

MAA

Welcome to another Nuts About Sketches. I used photos from a recent police training that my son was one of the leaders. What do you think of the gears? I couldn't think of anything else that would fit that part of the sketch. I sprayed White Column with Perfect Pearls to give the paper sparkle. I will try to take a better picture later on so you can see the page better.

Buzz

I got this cute bee set from There She Goes and had to play with it right away. I think it turned out ok. I need to add grass and clouds next time but just had a little bit of time. I colored the flowers with ink and blender pens. Sorry about the lines on the card. I tried taking the photo in a different spot. It fits There She Goes Water coloring challenge.

Amour Black & White

I played with a new stamp set and script embossing folder. I used Basic black and Basic white from Stampin up. Everything was spritz with vanilla shimmer spray. (I know that is the correct name but can't remember off the top of my head. The layout is from Tuesday Morning. The color is from Funky Friday challenge.

I found this image already to go on a card so I used this weeks Sweet Stop Sketch for the layout. All the papers are from my scrap bin. The image is from Sweet n Sassy. The rock saying is from Stampin Up.

I used this cute Bridge groom and Wedding & Anniversary sentiment set. All papers are from Paper Temptress. I distressed all edges than added black ink. I was going for a mainly card but just couldn't stop using pink. What do you think?

There She Goes Cards

This card uses the cute stamp set Bear Hugs from There She Goes. The TSG challenge is to water color your image. I used inks and blender pen on the bear.
This second card was created for OWH. I wanted to use Spooktacular Silhouettes. I used the bats for the flower centers. The flowers were cut from SU DP. I have had the DP for awhile but wasn't sure I like it. I like the way this came out.

Katie's card

My daughter decided she was bored and wanted to make a card. She did this one all by herself. I think she did and awesome job. It is for Phindy's Challenge.

I am finally back and home and have descent internet. I will have several posts that will be quick just trying to catch up. Keep an eye out because I am hopping to put together some wonderful blog candy to celebrate my blogaversary. My hubby goes back to work next week so things should quiet down a little.
