Blessings

Sweet n Sassy is having release challenges on their SNR group. One was to create a Christmas card. I used retired stamp set Poinsettias from Sweet n Sassy. 365 challenge Day 121 is shades of red. All paper is Stampin Up.

Stampin Up

Both cards are used different Stampin Up supplies. I am trying to use what I have before I buy anything more or at least make a dent in some of my stash.

Mixture

This cutie is from Bugaboo Stamps. This was created for The Stamping Boutique's release challenge of Beach theme.
This cutie is from Nana Vic. I just love the sayings that go with this saying.

Nuts About Sketches

White Linen 12 x12 was sprayed with a mix of Perfect Pearls Pewter and water. The edges are mix of white paint and Perfect Pearls Pewter. The titles are Silver Lustre & Incandescent Nero. I covered SU cog chipboard with Silver Lustre. The photos have basic Dark Greay. The photos are are of my son a few years ago at a Science Olympiad competition. All papers are from Paper Temptress. The layout is this weeks sketch at Nuts About Sketches.

Wings

I am in a purple mood and cleaning my desk. The papers are Basis Dark Purple, Orchid Vellum Bristol and Sparkle Blanc. The image is from Sew Many. I have misplaced an image and found this one instead so decided before it went missing to get it to a card. I colored with Twinkling H2O's. The ribbon is SU.

Sweet n Sassy's Thursday digi day challenge is to use pink and orange. Basis Dark Grey is the base. Basis Pink was embossed with a flower folder. The image is from Sweet n Sassy Stamps. Sketch is from Sweet Stop. The inside is decorated but forgot to take a picture.

Summer Sunshine is this weeks Phiny's Place Challenge. I used scraps for this card. I found the image all colored when cleaning my scrap desk. I just love finding things to make a card go together quickly.

Relax at the Cabin

This image is from Robyn Fetish. I followed 365 cards Tuesday Triplet challenge of 3 brads, 3 buttons, 3 bows. Basic Black is the base. I am totally in love with the Corrugated Brown. It gives such great texture to a project.
This cute image is from Karens Doodles. All papers are from my scrap bin. The saying is from Raindrop Echo Designs. Sentimental Sunday challenge is to use favorite sentiment. I love the font on this saying.

Phindy's Place Challenge this week is Summer Sunshine. I used Off we Go image. the grass is flower soft and flock. The basket and words are from a SU stamp set. I used scraps for all the papers.

Thank You

I used Stamping 411's sketch for this week. I am trying to use up DP so the pieces were decided by what I have in my scrap bin. Ok, I just looked at the sketch again and I changed it a bit so I guess I will try again.

Road Trip

This weeks Nuts About Sketches is a two page layout. You don't have to use both sketches to participate. If you use this sketch, I would love to see what you create. The photos are from a recent trip to the Grand Canyon that my daughter and husband took. The title, photo mat and words on the pages are from Create With TLC 's Summertime Stuff Word Lines. The base is Classic Red Linen 12 x 12. The ribbon is from Paper Temptress. The brads I found in my stash. The word art was printed on Skinny White Column.

I joined a new group called Crafter's Digital Art Center. The top card uses an image from Nana Vic's. Basis Light Blue was inked with Vintage Photo. Corrugated Brown goes well with the Basic Grey DP. The ribbon is from Paper Temptress.

Katie's card

My daughter,Katie, wanted to use this cute saying from Create with TLC. She drew the dragon herself. She doesn't like it and thinks it is horrible. I told her that it is awesome but what do I know, I am just her mom. What do you think? She used Razzleberry and Grapescile Pop Tones.

#1 Father

This digi is from Deedee's Digis. The layout is from Crafting with Deedee's digis. All papers are from Paper Temptress. The new Corrugated brown and blue are wonderful papers that add great texture without the work. Ok, I have to tell you the layout is off a bit to make up for the paper not being cut and matted straight. I was too lazy to start again. I think it turned out pretty good. What do you think?

Dream Team

My daughter took part in Relay for Life this year. Her team title was the Dream Team and they all designed their own super hero costumes. The sketch is from Nuts About Sketches. Scrap & Stamp's challenge is to use different fonts. The capitals are Curlie Gurlie and the numbers are Carnival by Tim Holtz. The other font I don't know the name. The ribbon stamp is from Stampin Up. The butterflies are from Butterfly Happiness by There She Goes Stamps. There She Goes challenge this week is to distress. I distressed all the edges and inked with Brilliance Pearlescent Purple. Basis Light Blue is paired with Grape Popsicle Glossy. Amythest Metallic is used for the titles, ribbons and matting the photos. The ribbons were cut out of the mats before gluing the photos done. This is a way to extend the paper. Birthday

This weeks challenge at There She Goes is a sketch challenge. Perfect Pearls were used to color my image.

Dance

This card was created for Dustin Parks request for cards for Mckenzie. You can read her story here. Summer Fairy Finna from Mo's Digital Pencil was printed on watercolor paper. Sparkle Blanc is the base. Basis Dark Grey was used for the letters and mats. The letters were sprayed with Perfect Pearls and water to give them a glitter effect. Mountain Rose Glimmer was embossed with flower folder. Ribbon was the finishing touch. The bow is hard to see since it is a light pink. All papers and ribbon are from Paper Temptress.

Caring

This beautiful image is from Create with TLC. I am honored to be on the Design Team. I changed the image from black to color in my photo editing program. I colored with reinkers and perfect pearls. The vertical DP is ribbon glued to a piece of cardstock. I am trying to find new uses for all the ribbon I own. The sketch is from last weeks' Stamp TV sketch challenge.

Let Them Eat Cake

Phindy's Challenge this week is Birthday. The DP and tag are part of a pack I have had for a while. I just love this image cuz the mouse looks like he is enjoying his cake. The saying is from Create With TLC. I changed the letter colors in Adobe Photo shop.

Here is this weeks Nuts About Sketches. These photos are 3 years old. The base is White Column 12x12. Gold Linen was used for the title box. All the ribbon is from Paper Temptress. The bottom blue ribbon photographed lighter but it is the same as the top ribbon.

Paper Temptress has added ribbon to the store. I created a couple quick cards using the new ribbon. The base is my favorite Sparkle Blanc. I love that this paper has a glitter effect. The pink is the new Corrugated Pink. The texture on this paper is fantastic. Don't forget to use aa15 to get a 15% discount.

Sweet n Sassy Cards

Sweet n Sassy had a release party for the new stamps in the store. The first card was created for the adorable challenge. I just love this set. Both stamp sets are retired. The second was was for the challenge winged things. The owl background was inked with Brilliance Mediterranean Blue. I love that this ink has a sparkle to it. Just basic papers for the cards.
