Sheet Load Cards
I had the pieces cut for the cards for awhile but just finished them up. I used the August Sheetload of Cards sketch. I love that they give you the dimensions to cut the paper so your cards are all the same. I notice now that some pieces are a little off that is what happens when I make cards when I am tired. The top card uses a Jessica Lynn image. Isn't he just so cute. The bottom card uses a SU set called Love Bug. The DP is retired SU. I colored the images with a mix of gel pens and Twinkling H2O's.

Cookie card
Here is my last minute entry for Hambo's monthly sketch challenge. I switched the saying and image since my saying was bigger than my image. Click on the picture to see the card bigger. Not sure if my circles look like cookies or circles with the measles. This is one of my favorite images that Hambo has. The card base is a digital Christmas paper from Fred, She Said. This is part of the Red Christmas Poinsetta Pack. I had planned on making a Christmas card with this but it made a quick base for this card.

Bouquet Bear
I am so excited that I won 5 of these wonderful images that Squigglefly now carries. I used Boquet Bear. I colored the flowers with Frost White Shimmer paint from SU. The leaves and bear are colored with chalks. The ribon is SU. I stampe the saying on Silver Lustre and then framed it from Oriental Trading. The DP is from Michaels $1 bin and the black is Pike Text Graphite. The reason for this card is a sad one. You can read the story here.

Pink Page
Here you can see the buttons up close. These were cut using a die for the Big Shot. I used Basis Magenta, Basis Black, Sparkle Noir, & Black Ruche for the buttons.
Here is a close up of the title. I created the title pieces in Adobe Photoshop and printed on Sparkle Blanc Textweight. The idea for the title came from My Sketch World's LO Math
This is a 12 x 12 page. The base is Silver Lustre. I framed the photos with Basis Magenta & Basis Black. The title base pieces were run through an embosing folder. One thing I love about Paper Temptress paper is that you don't have to worry about which side to emboss because both sides are the same. This saves me everytime because I am know for embossing differently than what I originally planned. The ribbon is SU. I used Darling Dots Circle stamp from SU in light pink ink.
The LO is Stamp TV's scrapbook challenge for this week.

Coffee Treat
I created a Peek A Boo treat for a friend. I cased Jodi's card that you can see here. I changed colors, and made my own flowers using Polka Dot Bloom stamp set. Jodi used buttons in the center of her flowers and I used Pez A Blings. I cased the wrong person for this challenge.

Clown Friend
I am back to my last minute posting for a challenge. Ildi Co has their first challenge to use lilac, yellow & coco. I colored the clown in gel pens. The saying has crystal effects on it and it is not dry yet so that explains the blurryness. I used Pez A Blings on the SU vanilla frame. The DP is a freebie from Tracey. Go to her blog and see her beautiful project using this digital paper set.

Calendar page 1
This is my first hybrid scrapbook page. A hybrid page is where you combine digital scrapbooking and traditional scrapbooking. I used a digital kit called Kit for Kate by Crystal. She created this kit specially for a little girl named Kate. Jennifer McGuire is having a card drive for Kate and her family. If you would like to make a card, go to her blog and get all the details. The photos are from my daughters 14 birthday. The clown is from IIdi Company which is a new digi store. She has some cute clowns and other images. The store has recentrly add a couple new designers who have some amazing items in the store. The clown was colored with gel pens for extra sparkle. I then added some Pez A Blings on the bottom left. The LO is from IIdi Co first LO challenge. For once, I didn't wait to the last minute. There is still plenty time to enter since the challenge ends on Sept 29th.

Halloween Gift Bag
Sassy Studio Desgins has a color challenge and it ends tonight. The colors are purple, orange, green and black. This image was a free one from yesterdays release. I colored the Sourcess face green because she is green with envy. I used red glitter glue on her lips. I added Rock Candy Stickles on the black frame. She is colored with Twinkling H2O's. The potion bottles were another freebie. Thanks Lindsay for the goodies. The DP is Wild Aspargus from My Minds Eyes.
Oh, Angels Landing is having a release party today over at SNR. Judi is giving away the new images at different times and some DT members have the images as blog candy too.

Thankful card
Sweet n Sassy Yahoo group challenge till Sept 25 is to use dark brown, dark yellow and light yellow. I don't like color challenges because I have a hard time finding the colors most time. I needed a thank you card and decided to do something out of my comfort zone. I wouldn't of thought of putting these colors together. The yellow polka dot paper is SU retired. The cream strip was shaped by scallop border punch. I then stamped a polka dot SU stamp on the border with Distress Ink Brushed Corduroy. The stamp is part of Thanksgiving Scripture set from Sweet n Sassy. The leaves were cut using a die for the big shot. I embossed the dark yellow, dark brown and yellow polka dot with Swiss Dots cuttlebug folder. The sketch is from Get Sketchy and the extra part of the challenge to create your own embellishments.

Base ball card
This cute image is from Jessica Lynn Originals. The base is Incandescent Nero. The sketch is from Sweet Sunday Sketch. Sparkle Orange and Avalanche White Linen were cut using Labels 2. I found a new site that has wonderful free videos on learning Photoshop Elements. It is called Digital Scrapbooking 101. Thankful card
This cute card was made at a SU class last month. The cute little boy is from the stamp set Very Thankful. This card is flat and the boy is on a 3x3 card that is on a 5 1/2 x 4/14 in base. Sorry, I didnt' realize the ribbon had undone itself.
On another note, I have changed my email but am finding out that emails are not getting sent and I am not getting emails. So if you need to reach me just leave me a comment and I will get back to you. I hope to get this problem fixed in a few days.

Flourishes Sketch Challenge
Flourishes is releasing new stamps Friday night. Their challenge was to create a card following their sketch for a chance to win all the new stamps. I used Mixed Greetings stamp set. The bowl was stamped with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink and the letters were inked with Faded Blue Jean Distress Ink. The images are stamped on Silver Lustre. I love the shine of this paper but it makes it hard to get a descent photo. The black is black crepe. I punched 3 ovals of SU retired DP to create my scallop border. http://flourishesnewsletter.blogspot.com/2009/09/feel-of-fall-let-fun-begin.html
Recipe-
Paper- Black Crepe, Silver Lustre, Double Duty Cappucino/Blue Ice, Sparkle Abysse - Paper Temptress

Princess Jennifer Latte
This cute image is from a Stamping Boutique a new digital image company. Princess Jennifer Latte was so much fun to color. I put the pumpkins on there for my favorite latte which is Pumpkin Spice and it is Jennifer's favorite latte too who the image was created for after a suggestion to Tracey (owner of Stamping Boutique). Click on the picture to see all the glitter. I got a couple other images and hope to have them colored and up later in the week.
I am having Internet problems and the gremlin (as I have nicknamed him) lets us only have Internet and cable from about 2 pm(PST) till 10 pm(PST). The cable company says that they can't have it fixed till at least Friday. So if I disappear, you will know that I don't have Internet.

Card for Paige
Erin is collecting cards for Paige who was in an awful boating accident. She has some wonderful blog candy up for all who send cards to her for Paige. I created this card using SU retired DP. The ribbon is one of the new SU in colors (I can't remember and too lazy to go look). I started with a sketch but forgot a major part. Oh well, I still like the card. I put turquoise Stickles in the center of the flowers. I had this image already colored so this made for a quick card.
