My best friend, Maurya, sent me this and I just had to share.

Stamp & Smile challenge 1

Here is my last card for Stamps & Smiles challenges. I used Whimsy Owl from Whimsy Stamps. The Designer Paper is a digtal pack from My Grafico called Mini Bugs Paper Pack. I used Sno Cone & Blu Rasberry Pop Tones, Basis Brown, Sparkle Blanc Cardstock from Paper Temptress. I have two pictures of the card because one has a better picture of the Sparkle in the Sparkle cardstock. I was pleasently supprised to fing out the sparkle still shines even avter I printed on it. I set my printet of presentation matte and it worked beautifuly. Yeah, another way to get more glitter on a card.

Kitty card

I used Butterfly Cat from Squigglefly. I love digital images. I printed the image on Silver Lustre from Paper Temptress. The sketch is from Stamp and Smiles first new release. I used Kraft, basis brown, cotton candy, and dp is a free digital paper that Gina K is giving away right now. I printed on heavenly white ultrasmooth from Paper Temptress. The ribbon is more of the wonderful ribbon that I won from Michelle. It is Mary Arts Ribbon. I used a Marth Stewart punch for the edge and SU scalloped punch.

Birthday Mouse for Challenges

This card was made for Stamps & Smiles challenge for their first release party. I used Birthday Ballons from Sweet n Sassy's digital stamps. I used Twinkling H2O's to color the image. I love the sparkle that the twinklings give you. I used brown, Bubble Gum and Amethyest Metallic from Paper Temptress.
This card also fits Sweet n Sassy's release challenge for embossing on a card.

I made this card for a friend that loves coffee as much as I. I included with the card some dark chocolate coffee beans. Yummy! I used this wonderful new paper from Paper Temptress. The stamp set is Coffee is Brewin' from H&M Stamps

TSG Bling

This is the card I did for There She Goes Challenge. Unfortunetley, The pitcure doesn't show it al. There is glitter around the saying.

Embossing on chipboard

This card I tried two new techniques on this card. I used floss on the small flower and embossed the big brown chipboard flowers and the little green chipboard squiggle. The sketch is for the Inspirational Card Sketch.
Paper- SU blue paper, and PT basis brown
Floss- Green parakeet
Chipboard- From my mom's stash.

Whimsy card

I had this idea from the time I won Princess Coach over a month ago. Thanks Denise. My DD when I told her my idea, she said I was crazy. I wanted something to pull my coach but all my other animals are small but maybe a bunch of turtles could pull this coach. This is an idea to think about. I used the Whimsy Polar Bear to pull the coach. I used Mary Arts ribbon. I love the texture and feel of this ribbon. I cut slits in the cardstock with an exacto knife. I colored the images with Twinkling H2O's. The DP is Euphoria from Basic Grey. I used White Diamond from Paper Temptress. This paper is amazing. I cut the slits and the paper didn't tear as I threaded the ribbon through. I stamped the images than embossed them with clear embossing to make the coloring easier. I used Dew Drops to add more glitter. The corner saying is Cotton Candy paper from Paper Temptress. The ribbon is the reverse of the ribbon around the bear.
The sketch is from Stamps & Smiles Sketch challenge to celebrate their first release.

This card is for Whimsy DT call, & Cute Card Thursday. & Stamps & Smiles Sketch

Coffee card

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday
challenge was to use vellum on a card. I used 3 Chairs for You from Flourishes. I used Ivory Leather, Pearl Vellum, basis brown, and tan from Paper Temptress. I put pop up dots behind the "seat" to give it a 3 d effect.

Distress Ivory

I took the picture at this angle so you could see the distressing of the Ivory Leather paper that was released tonight. I took the Ivory Leather and crumbled it up to give it a aged look. Then I rubbed Distress Ink over the paper. The Ivory is on top of Columns Brown Paper. I love the idea of being able to use a paper that already has texture.
I rubbed the same Distress Ink over the checkered paper to give it an aged look.
Paper Ivory Leather, Tan, Columns Brown from Paper Temptress DP is unkown
Ribbon is Mary Arts
Stamps H&M & Studio G

Knight Connor

I used some of the new yummy papers that Patricia is releasing tonight. I used Black Grandee which has a wonderful texture. I love that it gives a special touch to a card or project without any effert. The knight is Knight Connor from Whimsy Stamps. This one of the stamps I won last month. Thanks Denise. The birthday saying is from H&M stamps. I colore the Knight with twinkling H2Os. The knight is stamped on the Silver lustre. I took the picture at this angel so you could see the lovely lines.
I used strips of paper as thread for my buttons.

Just a reminder

Tonight is Paper Temptress party on Paper Craft Planet.

I will be MIA for a few days. I am getting ready for the release party on Paper Temptress Paper Lovers group on Wednesday night. I hope you can join us. Patricia is giving 2 lucky winners all the new papers. It is a value of $29. Believe me once you see this paper IRL. You will be as excited as the DT is.

VCS Frog

I have to make a note to self to stop looking to see what new groups are on Paper Craft Planet. I found this wonderful new stamp company called Victoria Case Stamps. They have some fabulously cute monster stamps. One of my new favorite stamps is digital images. One because they are cheaper than other stamps and you get to play with the stamp instantly. I have stayed away from digital stamps because I could not find a paper that I was happy with that would print a good image and that I could color on without the paper tearing or curling. I decided to try Paper Temptress Heavenly White Ultrasmooth cardstock. This paper is amazing. I was able to print the frog and color with my SU markers. The flowers and dragonfly are from Pond Pals from Sweet n Sassy Stamps and these images are stamped on Classic Linen Greystone.
The saying is from Hambo Stamps. I stamped the flowers with Brillance inks and then clear embossed the images and used a white gel pen and SU markers to color images.
This card I made for Stamp Something Challenge to do 3-d something.

Wow! My first award

I am so amazed that Andrea sent me my first award.

This "award is given to a blog that invests and believes in PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind of bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated.” The rule of the award is to now pass it on to another 8 people who demonstrate this spirit.

Ok it is so hard to choose who to pass this award on to but I will follow the rules. Here are the ladies I would like to recognize.
