  1. I can totally relate to your dilemma with the mouse. I live in an old home and my craft room is in the basement where I once met a really brave little mouse. As I was working one night - all the lights were on, music was playing - I at my drafting table working closely on a great card project deep in the moment - when what happens to make me jump out of my seat and upturn just about everything on my table - a brave little mouse who ran right across my card I was working on, over my shelf, and into one of the baskets that holds some embellishments. Needless to say I was not happy. I took a lid from a rubbermaid container I had quickly slapped it on top of the basket, dumped it in the rubbermaid container, put the lid on that then took the container outside. The plan was to get rid of the mouse in the morning (as it was now 2am). Unfortunately, in the morning my sweet darling children got outside before me, saw the mouse in the box and wouldn't let me "permanently" get rid of it. So, we took a very long walk out to the woods where I had to let it go. I don't know if he made his way back or not, but since then I have found some great mouse blocks and haven't seen any since. I am glad you are rid of your mouse too. Can't wait to see what you create next. :)
